Vaibhav Parekh

Research Assistant

Vaibhav is a recent M.S. graduate in Mechanical Engineering – Research from Carnegie Mellon University. His graduate research work sat at the intersection of deep learning and computer vision, focusing on unsupervised methods for keypoint detection within a broader concentration in Robotics & Control. At FORGE Lab, he continues to leverage deep learning to advance additive manufacturing processes.

Prior to joining CMU, he completed his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked at Tata Power Renewables, executing greenfield solar projects and performing techno-financial analysis of prospective renewable energy projects.

When he is not working, Vaibhav enjoys driving and photography.
